Douglas Scholes and Maude Arès | Curator Noémie Fortin 

Foreman Gallery, Bishop’s University, September 6 – October 5, 2024

As part of the ArtLab 2023-24 residency, curator Noémie Fortin has brought together the artistic worlds of Maude Arès and Douglas Scholes. With the support of RURART, an organisation working in the fields of art and agriculture rooted in the Eastern Townships, Scholes and Arès have been invited to engage in acts of accumulation and maintenance while following the rhythm of the seasons at the farm La Généreuse.

This four season residency comes together as an exhibition in September at the Foreman Gallery, Bishop’s University.
