Trophies for acts in their own right

Installation with trophies,video and drawings
Joyce Yahouda Gallery, Montreal, QC
February 25 – March 27, 2010

Trophies (1/7)
Drawings (1/5)

Trophies mark the accomplishments of a valued activity or event. They act as public reminders of the extraordinary effort applied. The mundane acts that allow us to complete our day-to-day activities rarely receive the same attention or value. This multi-media installation of trophies, video and drawings raises the domestic acts of maintenance including vacuuming, dusting, laundry, ironing and washing dishes to levels worthy of public recognition.
