This exhibition follows essential and yet contrasting attributes of terrible beauty through those things popular in the peripheral field of the spaces we inhabit. They are the ubiquitous objects and articles in which value has been reduced or abandoned. The larger-than-life relics, the abstracted graphs of imaginary statistics and the fantastic landscapes are from a pragmatic aesthetic that resides in the routine of daily activity. The works ramble through notions of the sublime taking form in photography and sculpture as reflected abstractions that admit a relevant perspective of attraction to some of those things found everywhere.
