(Best listened to with headphones) Working in an abandoned parcel of land in Hackney Wick, East London, these two hazard cones were found among other trash. They amplified the sounds from the highway (East Cross Route – A12) and the feeling of running in circles trying to keep on top of the trash – April 2012.
Created as part of a residency project where the Rubbish Picker was seen cleaning and repairing parts of the city of London, UK, in the spring and summer of 2012.
