Terrible Beauties are ubiquitous. If removed, the landscape seems bare and atypical. Circulating freely, flowing into the commons along roadsides, in bushes or trees, gathering in the eddies of back laneways or abandoned lots. The design, materials, colours, intended purpose, present as contemporary relics of the fickle human relationship with that which is desired, and the value lost which marks something that is discarded. The overlooked and ignored gathering invisibly in plain sight.
