A video essay depicting the 17 km walk of a Rubbish Picker along the rural routes from the village of San Romano to the landfill site just north of San Carlo, Mercato Saraceno, Italy. During the walk, you will notice, the Rubbish Picker collecting roadside litter and depositing markers or commemorative vases along his way. The makers are amphottles, a hybrid form of an amphora and a plastic water bottle cast in beeswax.
